* Use of excessive graphics. Some web desiners just use more graphics thinking that it will give their site more visitors.
But in reality people are not much interested in visual appeal.They just need content.YOU will be making a great mistake by not giving enough content in your website.
* Use of flash beyond a limit. Have YOU observed a professional website in detail.YOU will notice that even if it employ flash or other media , it will be present in minimum quantity.We will be seeing the disadvantage of using flash in later posts.
* Cut-copy-paste method of generating content for your website.Dont ever lift the content as such from other websites.It is a bigger mistake.It will reduce audience for your website.

The guide lines for designing a website is quite simple . If YOU follow it YOU can design a good website .
Guidelines :
#1 : Decide the content of YOUR website : The content of a website plays a major role in success of a website . Now a days people try to build websites with lot of visual appeal but wont have much content. Such websites will not be a success in long run.SO YOU ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO PREPARE LOT OF USEFUL CONTENT ABOUT THE WEBSITE YOU ARE PLANNNING TO BULID.
#2 : Prepare a sketch of the design on a paper : Its quite nice to prepare a sketch about how YOUR website will look. Professional web designers prepare sketch of the website on paper before they actually begin the actual design.
#3 : Organise YOUR content : Arrange YOUR content in such a manner that the usability of the content is improved .
#4 : Choosing a tool / software for building website : Its better to use a tool to build a website quickly.Tools such as dreamweaver allows YOU to build YOUR website easily.This website tells more about dreamweaver :

Dont use too much flash in YOUR website.It will increase the time needed for browser to load the page .And this is not search engine friendly.(Will see about this later.)

# 8 : Provide a sitemap to YOUR website : A sitemap is a page in YOUR website .It gives the user clear view of all the pages in YOUR website and also gives links to the pages . It improves usability.

The answer is simple - NOKIA mobiles are preferred because their usability is high.

STATIC AND DYNAMIC WEB PAGES : There are mainly 2 types of webpages - static and dynamic .
Static web pages : They look the same all the time.The appearance and the content doesnt change according to these factors :
